Logistics includes the planning of materials and resources. We identify long-lead items, which are not readily available and need to be ordered well in advance of the renovation project commencement. In planning the Long-lead items, their arrival needs to be planned along with storage capabilities. On large projects, some materials might need to be manufactured in advance, when large qualities are not “stock items”. Materials that are often commonplace in local building centers, are often made in other countries and needs to be shipped directly to the Jobsite. Our national suppliers have the ability to “KIT” materials by unit number. Therefore, delivering these materials to the site, just as these units are ready for the materials. Time is Money! Both the time your apartment unit is undergoing renovation and the time expended in the renovation of units. Intense planning is necessary for successful project completion.
